Alexander Eddon

Before entering the patent profession, Alex graduated with a First Class Honours BSc in Physics from the University of York in 2024. His undergraduate studies provided a strong foundation across various disciplines, including Quantum Computing, Magnetic Materials and Technology, Quantum Physics, and Modern Optics.

Further delving into applied physics, Alex gained expertise in areas like Introduction to Plasma Science and Technology, Nanoscale science, and Medical Physics.

Alex joined Secerna as a Trainee Patent Attorney in June 2025. His diverse academic background in physics, combined with his understanding of core principles in electronics and engineering, enables him to expertly navigate and specialize in intellectual property within these complex sectors.
