Niamh has practised in the field of Intellectual Property since 2021, working in the life sciences sector.
Before entering the patent profession, Niamh graduated from the University of Durham with a First-Class Honours integrated Master's degree in Biosciences, specialising in Biochemistry. Niamh's masters project involved using in vitro methods to identify the human histone proteins as novel targets of carbamylation.
Niamh joined Secerna as a Trainee Patent Attorney in August 2021.
