Ella Hudson

Before entering the patent profession, Ella graduated from Cardiff University with a Upper-Second Class Honours bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, which included a year of laboratory-based work at the University of Ottawa. Ella then earned a master’s degree in Industrial Biotechnology, graduating with Distinction from the University of York. Following this, Ella undertook a PhD in Biological Materials Science at the University of Sheffield in which she investigated peptide-protein binding interactions and related mechanical effects on protein-based fibres with relevance to improving their mechanical and thermal performance.
