Before entering the patent profession, Eleanor graduated from the University of Glasgow with a First Class Honours bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Biosciences. She then earned an MSc in Applied Bioscience and Biotechnology, graduating with Distinction from Imperial College London, where she completed a lab project on fibrosis mechanisms and wrote a comprehensive dissertation on the tumour immune microenvironment of colorectal cancer.
Following this, Eleanor undertook a PhD in Cellular Biology at Newcastle University, investigating cellular senescence in the tumour immune microenvironment of hepatocellular carcinoma, applying senotherapeutics, and gaining high proficiency in advanced laboratory protocols and data analysis software like R and Fiji.
